Free In-Home Assessment Before Installation
Before your installation day, Bradford performs a free in-home assessment to verify the correct system size, check your ductwork, and identify any airflow issues that should be addressed. This is how Bradford ensures your new system performs the way it should.
Most HVAC companies skip this step and just install whatever you ordered. Bradford checks first — because a properly sized system in a properly designed duct system is the difference between a home that's comfortable and one that runs all day and still doesn't feel right.

Professional Installation — One Day
Bradford installs your new system in a single day. Every installation includes: removal and disposal of your old system, installation of the new unit, refrigerant charge verification, thermostat installation and programming, and a full system test before we leave.
All Bradford technicians are EPA 608 certified and NATE-certified. AZ ROC License #353859. Every installation is done to manufacturer specifications to ensure your 10-year warranty is valid.

Warranty Registration & Follow-Up
Bradford registers your Trane or RunTru warranty with the manufacturer on your behalf — you don't have to do anything. Your 10-year parts and compressor warranty is activated at installation. Bradford also follows up after 30 days to make sure everything is running perfectly.
Most homeowners don't realize their warranty can be voided if it's not registered within 60 days of installation. Bradford handles this automatically so you never have to worry about it.

How long does a new AC installation take?
Most Bradford installations are completed in a single day — typically 4–8 hours depending on the system type and any ductwork modifications needed. Bradford will give you a time estimate when scheduling.
Do I need to be home during the installation?
Yes, someone 18 or older needs to be present during the installation. Bradford will give you a 2-hour arrival window and call 30 minutes before arriving.
What happens to my old AC unit?
Bradford removes and disposes of your old system as part of every installation. There's no extra charge for old system removal.
Does Bradford register my warranty for me?
Yes. Bradford registers your Trane or RunTru warranty with the manufacturer on your behalf at installation. You don't need to do anything — your 10-year warranty is activated automatically.
How do I know what size AC I need?
Bradford determines the correct size using a Manual J load calculation during the free in-home assessment. As a general guide: 2-ton for 600–800 sqft, 3-ton for 1,000–1,200 sqft, 4-ton for 1,400–1,600 sqft. Arizona homes often need one size larger than national averages due to extreme heat and attic installations.
