Arizona's extreme heat puts far more stress on HVAC systems than the national average — a system that runs 10–12 hours a day in July needs to be in peak condition before summer starts. Annual tune-ups also keep your manufacturer warranty valid.

Bradford offers two financing programs. Trane systems (XR, XL, and XV Series) qualify for 0% interest for 60 months on approved credit — the XV Series starts at approximately $275/month. RunTru by Trane systems are financed at 6.99% interest for 120 months (10 years), starting at approximately $104/month on approved credit. How does Arizona dust affect my HVAC system?

Arizona's desert dust, pollen, and haboob debris are some of the harshest conditions any HVAC system faces. Fine particles clog your air filter faster than in most climates — a standard 1-inch filter can become restricted in as little as 30 days during dust season. A clogged filter forces your blower motor to work harder, reduces airflow across the coil, and can cause your system to freeze up or overheat. Over time, dust buildup on the evaporator coil acts as insulation, reducing cooling efficiency and raising your electric bill. Bradford recommends MERV 11 filters, checked monthly and replaced every 45–60 days in Arizona.

No. Bradford Heating & Cooling is a West Valley HVAC contractor only. We serve Surprise, Peoria, Sun City West, Sun City, Goodyear, Buckeye, Glendale, Litchfield Park, Waddell, and El Mirage. We do not travel to Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, Gilbert, or other East Valley cities. Customers in those areas should contact a local HVAC contractor in their city.
