*10-year parts warranty requires registration by an authorized dealer within 60 days of install — Bradford does this automatically at no charge. Unregistered systems receive 5 years.

Plan A does not cover refrigerant. Plan B covers refrigerant recharge on qualifying major repairs and requires all necessary airflow improvements to qualify. Rush and freight charges on factory-backordered parts are not covered under either plan.

Coverage FAQ

What does the manufacturer warranty cover?

Trane and RunTru systems come with a 10-year parts warranty when registered by an authorized dealer (which Bradford does at no charge). This covers the compressor and all major components. It does NOT cover the labor to install those parts — that's what the JB extended labor plans are for.

What's the difference between parts warranty and labor warranty?

The manufacturer parts warranty covers the cost of the replacement part itself. The labor warranty covers the cost of the technician's time to diagnose and install it. A part might be free under warranty, but without a labor plan you'd pay for the labor to install it.

Do I need the JB extended labor warranty?

It depends on your risk tolerance. Bradford's 2-year workmanship guarantee covers install-related issues for free. The JB plans (A and B) extend labor coverage to 10 years. Plan A does NOT cover refrigerant. Plan B does cover refrigerant recharge on qualifying major repairs (one refrigerant call typically pays for the plan given R-454B prices) and requires all necessary airflow improvements to qualify. Rush and freight charges on factory-backordered parts are not covered under either plan.

How do I know my warranty is registered?

Bradford registers your manufacturer warranty in your name at install and emails you a copy — so you have proof your 10-year coverage is active. Keep that email. If you ever need it, call or text Ken at (623) 624-6246.

What if I need warranty service?

Just call or text Bradford at (623) 624-6246. Bradford handles the warranty claim with the manufacturer for you. If you have a JB labor plan, your labor is covered too. No runaround.
